ABOUT THE CLF

My photo
Everywhere, No where
I started the CLF as a joke on Ravelry, back in July of 2007. The joke was on me, we're a real group, that seeks to liberate ourselves from stereo types about our craft and ourselves. Other than being called "Fearless Leader", I'm a designer, mother, editor, wife, hand spinner, yarn addict, incessant reader, and over all geek in the coolest of geeky ways.

Beware Defamers of the Hook!

CLF First Ever Book Updates!

This is a message from the Fearless Leader!

The CLF First Ever Book, is accepting submissions from CLF members. Whether you are a new member or old hook please consider submitting either patterns or stories, hints/tips, ideas, and other crochet related information and crochetainment.

How do you know if you are a member? Well, you will have joined us on Ravelry.com. If you haven't signed up yet, then do so! Once you get your invitation then join the Crochet Liberation Front Headquarters group!

I've heard rumors, and I dont' know that I believe them too much, that Ravelry isn't very crochet friendly and so people aren't joining. Oh, come on guys! Jess and Casey are very crochet friendly, and you can't change things by not being active!

They have heard our cries, whining and even bowed into some polite demands :)

If you do not represent the hook, who will? Remember, "If you're not part of the solution, you are part of the problem."

Join us! And if you have joined us, then submit ideas hints, tips, it doesn't have to be patterns. Many crocheters don't use patterns and we KNOW that! But creative ideas are always helpful! Check out the locked and stickied thread on the CLF Forum, follow the links to get all the information you need to submit patterns, recipes, and articles/hints/tips.

CLF Global Domination Report ...Yes we have a podcast

Ok, I did it. I started the CLF Podcast. It's short, it's rambling, and you will indeed hear the clarion call of sheep.

The podcast will be a monthly affair and due to having a genius of a daughter, she suggested that you write in questions or requests and I answer them in the podcast (kind of like call ins on a radio show)...keep it crochet related! LOL....

I will try to get interviews with folks like you, and hopefully provide you with some hooking humor!

I hope you enjoy the podcast!

Absolutely Hookilicious!

This Bag Sets OUR Picot Free!

Bag (full)
Originally uploaded by lprajogo

This bag is great! From reading the notes on it's project page, I doubly award you for having the wear with all to finish the bag! Being as bored as you were with the single crochet, but then enjoying the detailing of the project!

By lining, adding embellishments, and a zipper you did what it takes to make crochet go from being "good" to GREAT!

I award you the Set My Picot Free Award!

Ooooh another Kitschilicious Award!
